Tomato: Peron *Overstock*

Deep-red, dual-purpose canning, and slicing sort. Smooth, slightly oblate fruit is very dense-fleshed and meaty and shows very little core. Fruit runs 3-6 ounces; the flavor is very good. Skins are very thick and tough, simplifying peeling when processing, and making the crack-resistant fresh fruits keep extremely well. Developed prior to 1954 by Prof. Abelardo Piovano of Argentina. Also known as Peron Sprayless Semi-determinate vines are fairly disease resistant.
