Tomato: Great White

The Great White Tomato is an award-winning white beefsteak tomato! This unique variety has a creamy inside that grows to 12 ounces or more. The tomatoes are a beautiful white color inside and out and can be described as tasting like a cross between a melon, pineapple, and guava. Low-acid taste. Great White plants are known for being very robust and resistant to both early and late blight. The plants do need strong steaking but the branches are thick enough to support the individual tomatoes, unlike other beefsteak types. Introduced by Gleckler’s Seedsmen in 1987.
