Tomato: Blue Fire

A very unusual, flashy tomato that starts green moves to deep blue, and then ripens to red and black, eventually becoming covered with gold speckles.

Originally from the tomato collection of Bill Minkey. We have found that this tomato tastes much better than most other antho-heavy varieties. The plant is indeterminant but prefers to stay short and spread horizontally versus vertically. The fruit will be the darkest where the most sun hits it.
