Tomato: Black Krim
Black Krim tomato is perhaps one of the 5 most popular heirloom varieties of all time. A feat such as this could only be accomplished by one thing, QUALITY! Black Krim tomato is a Ukrainian heirloom from the Crimea region of the Black Sea. First offered in the SSE 1990 Yearbook by Lars Olov Rosenstrom of Bromma, Sweden. This rare, and outstanding tomato yields 3-4″ slightly flattened mahogany-colored beefsteaks with deep green shoulders. Fantastic, intense, slightly salty taste. Also suitable for container/patio gardens.
