Cauliflower: Green Macerata

A delicious Italian variety with 2-lb, bright apple-green heads that are superb when cooked or raw in salads. Beautiful, vigorous plants that mature pretty early. The plant habit is upright and vigorous. The Macerata is very fun to watch, grow, and eat!  In addition, the curd is heavy with excellent color. This variety is a large cauliflower plant with dark green leaves, and it produces best in the fall. It can also be planted in early spring.
