Many consider Burgess Buttercup to be one of the best-tasting winter squash, and it does exceptionally well in Northern gardens. It has a thick, orange, and creamy flesh that tastes like sweet potatoes once cooked. The turban-shaped squash grows to be about four by six inches with a dark green exterior. The Burgess Buttercup plant is a hardy and fairly compact Selection winner and recommended by Utah State!
