Japanese favorite, valued for its culinary versatility and refreshing crunch. Sweet and very crisp, this radish is a delight pickled, stir-fried, steamed, or raw. Very easy to grow. The giant white roots grow to 24 inches long and 3 inches wide.

Direct sow Daikon radish seeds into well-drained, fertile soil about 1/4 inch deep and 6-8 inches apart in rows spaced 6 inches apart. Radishes do not transplant well, so it is best to plant them where they will grow.
