A popular old radish reported to have originated in the Mediterranean and brought to China for cultivation around 500 B.C. Japanese favorite, valued for its culinary versatility and refreshing crunch. Sweet and very crisp, this radish is a delight pickled, stir-fried, steamed, or raw. Very easy to grow. The giant white roots grow to 24 inches long and 3 inches wide.
