Herb, Parsley: Dark Green

Dark Green Italian Parsley has a unique distinct flavor.  This variety grows flat, dark green striking leaves deeply cut on stiff, upright stems. Plants can quickly grow as tall as 25-40 cm (10-16”) with an average plant diameter of 15-20 cm (6-8”), so be sure to give them space.  Parsley is relatively easy to grow and is an excellent addition to any herb garden.  Dark Green Italian is an excellent variety for drying.

Direct seed outdoors in fall or very early spring; otherwise place the seeds in the fridge for several weeks, then remove from fridge and germinate at 65-70 F.
