Cauliflower: Self Blanching

Self Blanching Cauliflower takes the hard part out of getting beautiful white heads. The large outer leaves naturally want to curve in and cover the head, keeping it out of sunlight. Although Self Blanching tends to have smaller heads than Snowball it is a more compact plant and matures a bit earlier. Be sure to check each head and make sure the leaves are adequately covering the entire head. Some plants may benefit from a small amount of tying.
